About me

After graduating from Chelsea College of Art and Design with a BA in Interior Architecture. I was lucky enough to be given an internship at one of the worlds leading interiors magazines Elle Decoration, where I was able to pursue my love of interiors.

Elle Decoration was then under the editorship of Ilse Crawford,  they were exciting and ground breaking times. It was there that I was able to hone my skills as an interior / lifestyle stylist and writer. Progressing swiftly to Shopping Editor ( the best sounding job tittle), editing my own section within the magazine, where I was given creative freedom to produce innovative and beautiful stories, collaborating with some of the best interior and fashion photographers.

I then went on to become the magazines Style Director, a dream role where I was responsible for both commissioning and producing the key style and trend stories for the magazine.

With the birth of my sons a few years ago I left to go freelance, whilst remaining on the editorial board and still contribute to stories on a regular basis.

Since stepping into the freelance world, I have worked for most of the UK’s leading high street brands from M&S, Conran, BHS, House of Fraser, Next Home to name but a few, both as creative director and stylist on projects ranging from advertising, catalogues to film.

Recently, I have also gone back to my roots and have designed several interiors for both the domestic and commercial sectors.

Colour, texture and feel are important to me in my work, coupled with an uncompromising eye for detail and composition my work has a distinct narrative. My goal is to create inspiring and imaginative interiors that are beautiful, warm, relaxed, useful and liveable.
